The Baby Fat Bar is a gentle, unscented bar soap made for babies and young children. It is formulated with grass-fed beef tallow, colloidal oats, and calendula, chosen for how mild they are on delicate skin. It contains no essential oils, synthetic fragrances, or harsh detergents.
Grass-Fed Beef Tallow, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Colloidal Oats, Calendula, Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Sucrose, Sodium Lactate. Calendula and olive oil are certified organic.
It contains no essential oils, no synthetic fragrances, and no parabens, and colloidal oats and calendula are among the mildest botanicals used in soap. As always, consult your pediatrician before using a new product on an infant, and patch test first.
It is formulated to avoid that. Conventional baby washes often use detergents that strip skin lipids; this bar is tallow-based, so it cleanses while leaving skin feeling comfortable rather than tight. It is a soap, not a medicated product, and is not intended to treat, cure or prevent any condition. For a persistent rash or a diagnosed skin condition, please see your pediatrician.
Lather in your hands with warm water and gently massage onto skin, then rinse thoroughly. Suitable for body, face, and scalp, and can be used daily.
