It helps. Oily skin cleansed with harsh, stripping products tends to overproduce oil in response. Oil cleansing dissolves excess sebum and grime without triggering that rebound, and most people find their skin is better behaved after a few weeks.
There is no published comedogenic rating for beef tallow — the scale quoted online tested isolated ingredients on rabbit ears and did not include it. What can be said is that tallow's fatty acid profile is close to human sebum, so it tends to absorb rather than sit on top. Tolerance varies, so patch test first. The tallow here is in the face cream; the Cleansing Oil and Toner are plant-based.
