The FATCO Guide

Myrrhaculous
Face Cream

A face moisturizer built on grass-fed tallow and myrrh, not water and emulsifiers. The formula your skin absorbs the way it absorbs nothing else.

The Basics

Myrrhaculous Face Cream is a tallow-based face moisturizer made with grass-fed beef tallow, myrrh essential oil, and 10 plant oils. No water, no synthetic emulsifiers, no preservatives. Because tallow's fatty acid profile is nearly identical to human sebum, your skin absorbs it as a building block rather than pushing it to the surface. Myrrh, studied for thousands of years for its anti-inflammatory and skin-regenerating properties, does the targeted anti-aging work. The result is a cream that feels richer than conventional moisturizer but absorbs faster, because it's made of what skin already knows.

Why It Works

Built on what skin already recognizes.

Biocompatible base

Grass-fed tallow has a fatty acid profile nearly identical to human sebum. Skin absorbs it the way it absorbs its own oil: deeply, without a film on the surface. No synthetic emulsifier needed to hold it together.

Fat-soluble vitamins

Grass-fed tallow delivers vitamins A, D, E, and K directly to skin cells in their most bioavailable form. These are the same nutrients high-end serums attempt to replicate synthetically, delivered here through the base ingredient itself.

Targeted with myrrh

Myrrh essential oil has been used for skin regeneration for centuries. In modern skincare it's studied for anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties, particularly around fine lines, elasticity, and cell renewal. It's the active that gives this cream its name.

What's Inside

Every ingredient is doing work.

Grass-Fed Tallow

The base

Fatty acid profile mirrors human sebum. Delivers vitamins A, D, E, and K directly to skin. The reason this cream absorbs differently than anything water-based.

Myrrh Essential Oil

Anti-aging active

Natural humectant and anti-inflammatory. Studied for skin-regenerating properties. Anti-aging focus on fine lines, elasticity, and skin tone.

Rosehip Seed Oil

Cell renewal

Rich in vitamin A precursors and linoleic acid. Supports cell turnover, skin tone, and elasticity. One of the most documented anti-aging plant oils available.

Borage Oil

Barrier repair

Among the highest gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) content of any plant oil. GLA is a key structural component of the skin barrier, depleted in dry, sensitive, and mature skin.

Evening Primrose Oil

Elasticity support

Another high-GLA oil with documented effects on skin firmness and moisture retention. Often used in formulas targeting hormonal skin changes and mature skin.

Beeswax

Occlusive seal

Natural occlusive that locks moisture in without synthetic polymers. Gives the cream its semi-solid texture and helps active ingredients stay in contact with skin longer.

How to Use

Less is more with tallow.

1

Cleanse

Start with clean skin. Pat dry; tallow absorbs best when skin is slightly damp.

2

Warm

Scoop a pea-sized amount. Warm between your fingertips for 5 to 10 seconds until it melts slightly.

3

Apply

Press into face and neck using gentle upward strokes. Use less than you think. A small amount covers the whole face.

4

Layer (optional)

Follow with Myrrhaculous Face Oil on areas that need extra attention: around the eyes, forehead lines, or dry patches.

Complete the Routine

The cream and the oil are designed to work together.

Myrrhaculous Face Cream handles the base: moisture, barrier support, and fat-soluble vitamins from the tallow foundation. Myrrhaculous Face Oil handles the targeted treatment layer: 17 anti-aging botanical oils (tamanu, rosehip seed, sea buckthorn, myrrh) applied over the cream where skin needs concentrated actives most.

They work independently. Together they cover every step of a complete face routine without any synthetic filler in either formula.

On Sourcing

The tallow is only as good as what the cow ate.

Commodity tallow from grain-fed cattle is nutritionally inert; the fatty acid ratios are off and the fat-soluble vitamins are nearly absent. Grass-fed, pasture-raised tallow is a different product entirely: the right fatty acid profile, the vitamins intact, the CLA present. That's the only kind FATCO renders, and we know the ranchers it comes from.

The rest of the ingredient list follows the same logic. Every oil in Myrrhaculous is organic where available, chosen for documented skin benefit, and present in a concentration that actually does something, not listed to fill a "10-oil blend" claim on the label.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

  • What is Myrrhaculous Face Cream made of?

Myrrhaculous Face Cream is made with grass-fed tallow as the base, plus organic coconut oil, shea butter, jojoba oil, pumpkin seed oil, extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, beeswax, rosehip seed oil, evening primrose oil, borage oil, moringa oil, argan oil, lavender essential oil, and myrrh essential oil. No water, no synthetic emulsifiers, no preservatives. All starred ingredients are organic.

  • Is Myrrhaculous Face Cream good for anti-aging?

Yes. The formula targets aging skin through several mechanisms. Grass-fed tallow delivers fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K in bioavailable form, supporting cell renewal and barrier repair. Myrrh essential oil has documented anti-inflammatory and skin-regenerating properties. Rosehip seed oil and borage oil contribute vitamin A precursors and GLA for elasticity and cell turnover. The result is a cream that addresses aging at the barrier level rather than just sitting on the surface.

  • Will tallow face cream clog my pores?

Grass-fed tallow is generally non-comedogenic because its fatty acid profile is so similar to human sebum that skin absorbs it rather than leaving a film that can block pores. Many people who have reacted to conventional moisturizers find tallow cream works well for them, including those with combination and oily skin. If you are acne-prone, start with a small amount and patch test before full use.

  • How is Myrrhaculous Face Cream different from other tallow face creams?

Most tallow face creams are tallow plus one or two simple oils. Myrrhaculous adds myrrh essential oil as a targeted anti-aging active, along with a full stack of 10 documented skin-benefit oils including rosehip seed, borage, evening primrose, and moringa. FATCO has been formulating with grass-fed tallow since 2013, well before the trend. Sourcing is verified and the fatty acid profile of the tallow is the right kind.

  • Can I use Myrrhaculous Face Cream as my only moisturizer?

Yes. Most people use it as a standalone moisturizer, applied morning and evening after cleansing. A pea-sized amount is enough for the full face and neck. If you want a more complete routine, layer Myrrhaculous Face Oil on top for targeted treatment on areas with more visible aging or dryness.

  • Is Myrrhaculous Face Cream safe during pregnancy?

Myrrh essential oil is generally recommended to be avoided during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, FATCO's pregnancy-safe skincare sets and the Myrrhaculous Face Oil (myrrh is present there too, so also worth checking with your provider) may not be the right fit. Check with your healthcare provider before using essential-oil-containing skincare during pregnancy.

  • What is the difference between the 1 oz and 2 oz sizes?

Same formula, different size. The 1 oz is best for first-time buyers or travel. The 2 oz is better value and the right choice once you know the cream works for your skin. At daily morning and evening use, the 1 oz lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks; the 2 oz lasts approximately 2 to 3 months.
