My face SOAKS this up! It’s amazing, and nourishing. I love that Cassy makes nutritious pregnancy safe products for us mamas! And my skin loves it even more! The lavender is a pleasant addition.
Caution for those with sensitive skin
First off, I do want to say that the ingredients and smell are amazing! I had high hopes for this product based off the description and a recommendation from an FDN on Instagram. I’ve used clean skincare for years now, but always have to steer clear of products that use essential oils (no matter the purity or dilution) because of skin reactions. Even though this product contains lavender eo, I figured it was the last ingredient, so maybe it would be ok? I applied it once 2 days ago and am now dealing with itchy, red, burning welts on my face. While this (I’m assuming) is probably not the normal experience with this product, I just want to caution those with sensitive skin, especially to essential oils, that this may not be the product for you. At the very least, do a patch test of a tiny area of skin first - don’t apply it to your entire face like I did.
So far this has been great for my face and my acne is healing and clearing! My face feels soft and moisturized. My only wish is that it was a bigger bottle but I will definitely be ordering again!
I am pleasantly surprised by how clean this product is. What I am unsure about it that it’s the texture of petroleum jelly or chapstick and seems super thick and greasy. My skin is super dry and semi sensitive and I think it’s starting to break out a little. I also find that I couldn’t possibly put make up on after using it because it stays greasy and sticky for some time. Not sure it fits the description of cream.
FATCO Skincare Products
Hey Brook! Thanks so much for your feedback! Yes, this product is definitely more of a heavy-duty moisturizer, and thicker than most. If it feels too think and heavy in the summer, then I would definitely recommend you give it another try in the cool, dry, winter months...I think you (and your skin) will really enjoy it!
Honestly the best
Dry, sensitive, and mildly acne prone skin. On my 5th tub. I think that says it all.
